Make sure you have the latest version of Sapphire installed; download it again if necessary. Also, if you have ATVFiles installed, upgrade it to the latest or remove it.

How do I go about removing ATV files as I am not sure if they are installed or not?

I have just downloaded the latest version of Sapphire, nothing happens in front row when I start it.

  • Status changed from new to closed
  • Resolution set to invalid

ATVFiles is the name of another AppleTV/FrontRow plugin, like Sapphire is (you should have noticed that I used the singular, not plural when referring to it). You have an old version of the compatibility framework that both ATVFiles and Sapphire uses. Both plugins are distributed with this framework, so most likely you have an old version of ATVFiles installed, which loads an old version of the framework.

This has been stated in a few other tickets, which you would have found if you conducted a search (another item in the directions you were asked to follow).

Marking as invalid since this isn't a bug in Sapphire.
