new name and position ...

I would love the following changes:

  • the plugin is displaying "Sapphire" in FrontRows? Main Menu, I would like to replace the original Movies PlugIn? from FrontRow? with Sapphire and would prefer, if the Sapphire Plugin let the user change the string it displays (in my case to "Movies")
  • Sapphire displays "TV-Shows" before "Movies" in the main menu, this is alphabetically wrong (and not suitable for me, because I have much more movies than TV-Shows). It would be great, if the order could be modified by the user

Kind regards, Phade

Moving Sapphire's position on the ATV menu see:  http://wiki.awkwardtv.org/wiki/Re-Order_ATV2_Menu_Items

For the item "Sapphire" to "Movies" play around with the CFBundleName key in the same file.

and finally switching the order of 'our' TV Shows & Movie virtual directories - this is what we chose and have no plans to change it.

Additionally, the  Sapphire Website and Google are your friends... please do some research before you continue to submit enhancement requests for features that are already available.

We all understand not to bother developers with questions asked and answered somewhere else. Surely we all google first and check all tickets, but CFBundleName does not have any effect, not for Sapphire, not for the Movie.plugin So I have to ask again: how can I change the name Sapphire displays ?

And the usual prefered-order-keys have no effect on the submenu for TV Shows and Movie virtual directories, that why I asked for a solution. Please respect prefered-order-keys also on submenues ...

Edit the CFBundleName string in

/System/Library/CoreServices/Front Row.app/Contents/PlugIns/Sapphire.frappliance/Contents/Resources/English.lproj/InfoPlist.strings
Note: See TracTickets for help on using tickets.
