Manual Install Causes Black Screen

Description

I'm on AppleTV 3.0. I tried updating NitoTV and then Sapphire to 7.8.1 through SoftwareMenu? plugin and it deleted Sapphire instead. Attempted to manually install the latest Sapphire and now all I get is a black screen (assume Frontrow crashes??). I remove Sapphire and Frontrow loads. This has happened to me in the past with new installs. What's going on here?

Your "manual install" is corrupt. Use the correct installation methods. Anything else is unsupported.

I went to http://appletv.nanopi.net/sapphire-browser-downloads/ page and selected the download methods listed there. Is this not the official Sapphire site? What is the correct installation method that you are supporting? Every method that I've found so far hasn't worked. Maybe I'm missing something?

Given your list of problems, your AppleTV has serious issues which are likely the real culprit. Solve them first.

Okay. I'm not sure what my problems are or how to solved them but if I would fix the AppleTV, what is your supported method of installing Sapphire so that I do it correctly?

Does the lack of response mean that you don't have a supported method right now?

Is this not the official Sapphire site?

I assumed you were capable of looking at the site listed here and seeing the two are the same.

Does the lack of response mean that you don't have a supported method right now?

It means that I also assumed that someone going to such a site was capable of seeing the link on the right that said "Manual" and inside that, the links talking about installation.

Did I assume too much of you? If so, then you have no business doing something you cannot understand, namely hacking your AppleTV.

We consider this issue closed. If you persist in being a nuisance, you will be denied access.
