TV Shows vanish from Virtual Directory

Description

After successfully importing all TV Show data, and ensuring that all series were in the Virtual Directory, I began playing an episode. When I stopped the episode, and returned to the Virtual Directory, all TV Shows had vanished, except for one.

Going in through Collections, I could find all of the TV Shows on the external HDs, and the metadata appeared to be intact.

I'm running ATV 3.0.2, hacked by ATV USB Creator 1.0.b13, with Sapphire version 1.0b8.0.3 (not selectable below).

In the "Episode" field of a particular episodes "Home" screen, it says "Undefined." So, it looks like some Metadata relating to the episode has gone wonky...

You have a buggy frappliance installed, which is more likely than not, the real reason nito crashed (it typically doesn't crash when starting up). This could also be the cause of the behavior you are seeing within Sapphire.

So, the recommended course of action would be to delete all current Frappliances, re-download them, and re-install?

Check to make sure they are not out of date first. Your crash with nito (I'm not blaming it for the above BTW) occurred when only Apple's frappliances and nito was loaded (no others). Perhaps the latest version of nito has issues, or something else is occurring.

Try Sapphire by itself and see if you can reproduce any issues, then if it doesn't fail, add frappliances one at a time and see when it breaks. If it does fail, and you can reproduce it, gather any logging information you can and report it here.

I had the same issue. Some combination of running "Update Scrapers" and removing frappliances definitely fixed the problem. In my case I am pretty certain it was Understudy frappliance that caused it.

Seems to me that if you removed/modified any frappliances from stock the 10.6.4 upgrade left the rest alone and weird things happened. I strongly doubt this was Sapphire's fault at all.
