Description (last modified by gbooker) (diff)
After doing a clean install of Apple TV 1.0, upgrading to 3.0.2, and patchsticking, I found that 1.0b8.0.5 does install, but then displays errors after importing data, especially on TV shows.
I looked at the console log, and saw that /Users/frontrow/Library/Application Support/Sapphire/metaData.sapphireDataV3 was missing
I touched this file (as user frontrow). Still some errors. chmod gou+rw as user frontrow and the errors were gone.
I hoped this might be of some use to you. Thanks for a great Apple TV experience.
I'm attaching my console.log just in case you want to peek.

The CoreData framework is supposed to create the file if it doesn't already exist. What were the permissions before you ran the chmod? Did the /Users/frontrow/Library/Application Support/Sapphire directory exist before you touched the file and if so what were it's permissions.
