Subtitle toggling / selection

Description

It would be excellent if possible to toggle .srt-subtitles on and off. This should be somewhat possible since ATVFiles does it since v1.0. If implemented, the possibility to select between several subtitle-files (by some standard naming convention; say: <filename>-<2-letter_country_code>.srt, eg: Shrek-SE.srt/Shrek-EN.srt respectively) would be super as well. Could be achieved by using for example volume + and - on the apple-remote.

This would be particularly good for the cases when my spouse whishes subs in our native tongue, whereas I prefer in English in most cases.

Since I assume that subtitle handling actually is on Perian, I figured a quick hack to fix it.

Add a new submenu to the menu alongside "add to favorites", "join", etc. named Subtitle. In this, all subtitles identified for a certain movie should be listed. The currently activated subtitle should have a ticked box next to itself, or at least be marked in some way. When a sub is deactivated or when another is selected, the currently active sub should be renamed to <filename>-<languagecode>.srt, effectively preventing Perian from identifying it. Then the selected sub should be renamed from the above naming convention to <filename>.srt.

Another way with better redundancy could be just to keep all of the language specific subs and just copy the selected ones over the ones without the language suffix. And when none is selected, just delete the active one.

This would be excellent!
