Green flickering box around movie when playing

When playing certain divx files using sapphire, a green flickering box appears around the entire movie. It comes and goes during the movie. I have noticed it happening continuously in two videos, and it can occasionally pop up in others briefly. I do not know if console logs would be useful for this bug, as the program does not crash, or seem to do anything "wrong". If they would be helpful, please comment/email me and i can post them (if i can find them...).

The box does not appear when playing the file using quicktime. I am using perian and have divx for mac installed. I do not know which one is being used to decode the movie.

Just for reference, the fault occurs when playing both a movie (a DVD rip of back to the future) and tv shows (a few episodes of friends).

I have the same issue -- green flickering (sometimes) when I watch a movie/TV show (divx). It only happens if I open the show in Sapphire; if I switch and try it in "normal" front row (still perian) then it works fine.

Sapphire passes the movie off to Quicktime to play, nothing more. So the green flickering is coming from somewhere within QuickTime?.
