Description
Hi,
I've tried both of the latest versions of Sapphire (v6.5 and v7), but whenever I open a DVD it just restarts the finder. This is the first time I've tried Sapphire, so its not an existing install. I'm on AppleTV running v2.4 of the Apple software. Also running 0.8 of nitoTV. I've been using nitoTV for many months.
The DVD is a VIDEO_TS folder located on an SMB shared drive, and when I open it using the "Files" option under the nitoTV menu, it works fine -- goes right to the DVD menu and plays properly. It only crashes and restarts the finder when I use Sapphire to open the DVD to play it. Browsing folders, updating the Sapphire library, and all that works fine for me.
I realize that Sapphire beta v7 is only supposed to support the Mac platform, but since the problem I'm seeing happens exactly the same way on both 1.0b6.5 and 1.0b7 I thought it was worthwhile to post. Possibly it is some configuration that I need to adjust or some missing framework/library that is not installed from the nitoTV smart installer?
Here's the log results from doing a 'tail /Library/Logs/Console/501/console.log'
